Immersive horror experience design

In immersive horror the audience isn't watching the story. They're in it, and often it's happening to them. Dread Works designs immersive horror experiences where every room, performer and sound moves the audience closer to something they'd rather not meet.

We work on promenade theatre, one-to-one experiences, horror dining, live-action games and brand activations.

Questions
asked

What is an immersive horror experience?

An immersive horror experience puts the audience inside the story. They move through spaces, interact with performers and make choices, so the fear feels personal rather than watched from a seat.

How do you keep immersive horror safe?

We design consent and safety in from the start: clear communication before entry, touch and no-touch policies, safe words, performer training, and exit routes that don't break the story.

Can you design a one-off horror event?

Yes. We create concepts, stories, scares and sound for one-off horror nights, launches and brand activations, as well as long-running shows.
